GREETINGS FROM THE REPUBLIC OF MEXICO
First let me start by thanking each one of you wonderful pastors that gave us the opportunity to report to you and to those that allowed us the privilege of presenting our ministry to you. It was so refreshing to see old friends and to meet you wonderful pastors and new friends for the first time. We had one of the best and enjoyable trips ever! God’s grace was with us and not only did we enjoy the trip, but the Lord gave us a bonus of nine souls that we had the blessing of leading to the Lord; and several rededicated their lives to Him. Our last service was in our home church. It was refreshing to see our Pastor and church family. Thank you all for making our trip such a success!

The thieves took more than we first suspected; but they either had a small car or no car at all. Otherwise they would have left us with nothing. It had to be someone that had been in our home before, because they first tried to take from outside the wall a small safe that we had installed in my office. They couldn’t get it out, so they tried to cut it with a torch,. That didn’t work either. So they cut the iron guard on one of the windows, opened the window and had a great time taking things. What they didn’t know until they were inside was that the safe door was open and empty. Please pray we can recover some of the things they stole.

Please Pray That We Reach Our Goal
|
|
Our goal was to raise $900.00 to put two of our men full time in the villages where we already have the facilities built and where we are having to go preach once every week. It will be a blessing to have God’s man present all the time. And when they’re not winning souls and discipling, they can do additional construction that is needed. They will be full time living and pastoring in the village missions until they become indigenous works. Please pray for this need. As of now, we have had approximately $375.00 of the $900.00 promised; but we haven’t heard from all of those churches that promised to pray. So please join us in prayer that we can achieve this goal for the honor and glory of God. Tit 3:14 “And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful”.

When the Ladies’ Advanced Discipleship Class was started in Jan., I really only expected to have 3 or 4 ladies attending. To my surprise 8 ladies began: 7 from our church and an American from Allende. While I was gone, Rosa (my right hand) led the class in prayer and memorizing Scriptures. Six of the ladies from our church have been very faithful in prayer and memorization. One of these is now an invalid and unable to attend, but is memorizing along with us. And, as they memorize, the Word works in them. It’s wonderful to see my sister’s fall in love with the Lord and His Word. A desire to see the lost around them saved is evident, as these precious saints witness and give out tracts wherever they go. Two of these ladies are discipling new converts now. Praise the Lord! Let this also be your invitation to our next Advanced Discipleship Conference, on September 25th and 26th. This will be bi-lingual and is for men and ladies. Several Americans will be teaching it. And, we can assure you that it will be a tremendous blessing! II-Timothy 2:2 “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”
Thank you for your prayers and support. Lord Bless You. John & Wanda

Php 1:7 “Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace”.
