HILLS TO CLIMB
Hola from the Republic of Mexico and greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We’re still cleaning up some of the messes we encountered when we arrived from our trip to the USA. We thank God the mess wasn’t any worse than it was. We lost two large families. One family is rocky and still pending, not firm yet. When we left on our trip, the Primera Iglesia Bautista was full of joyful people. Most of the folks had at least eleven weeks of discipleship and were doing great. The healing has been slow and difficult. And, with all the new work we came to, it’s kept us busy, busy. The worst thing was that the poison came from the wife of one of our faithful pastors. We thank God that when He gives us hills to climb, He also gives the strength for climbing!

I still don’t have my Yukon! Two weeks ago they called me and said it was ready. I picked it up and it was worse than a piñata. I took it to the main dealer in Monterrey; and two days ago they told me they had to take it apart and start all over again. I wish now that I had taken the money for the damage and traded it off. I have asked for a loaner car, but they won’t do anything to help us. Please pray for us, as we were not expecting the costly and unexpected expenses on repairs for Wanda’s Suburban. It has cost over $2,000.00 for repairs. Please pray that we can soon pay our credit card. We cannot risk our life being here without a good running vehicle, in case of emergencies. With all the killings and kidnappings around us on a daily basis, we might need it.

Three brothers. Started church during VBS last year. They were the most unruly, rebellious kids we have ever seen. Most of the folks in church would tell me to get rid of them because they couldn’t hear the sermons.
|
I told them to love and teach them how normal Christians behave. They grew in the Lord; they got a burden for their parents, brought the mother to church, and she was saved. The next week they brought daddy to church; he was saved, too.

Praise the Lord! I baptized them; and now we’re discipling them. From top to bottom are the boys, dad and mom getting baptized.

We needed 300 toy shoe boxes for Christmas and have 100 promised. We need 200 more. If you can help, would you please let us know?
Thank you for your love, prayers and support. We love you and are praying for you.
