MAY 16, 2012 Mission Update: Facultad de Música (School of Music)



During the first week of May, by the grace of God, the First Fundamental Baptist Church of El Cerado kicked off a ministry on the power of music. This ministry focused primarily on promoting among the people, the culture of Christian music along with a strong emphasis on teaching the children, teens and adults how to play instruments that can be used within the church to praise, honor and glorify God.

The ministry offers in its technical development classes:

1. Guitar
2. Piano
3. Violin,
4. Transverse Flute
5. Choir
6. Music Theory


With great aplomb and with a resolute spirit, the brothers and sisters have started to take guitar, piano, violin, theory of music AND choir lessons. The lessons are taught by Pastor Gustavo Perales and his wife Carmina Guadarrama.
